The Kennett School Board met in a routine session this week as the district prepares to start the new school year Monday. Among the actions taken by the Board:
- Approval was given to the operating and debt service tax levies for the school year.
- Approval was also given to various program evaluations, the substitute teacher list, and student handbooks.
- During the closed the session a few personnel matters were considered. Among them was employment of Aaron Pixley as a KHS physical education instructor. Pixley will also serve as KHS football and baseball assistant coach. Lance Penn was given approval as an assistant football coach at KHS and as KMS head baseball coach.
