Fishing Day at Combs Lake Set for Saturday

mdc-15

The annual Fishing Day at Combs Lake is Saturday. The event is co-sponsored each year by the Missouri Bootheel Regional Consortium and the Missouri Department of Conservation and brings hundreds of kids and their families to the lake. MDC Agent in Dunklin County Eric Heuring says kids can bring their own fishing equipment, but if they don’t have that, don’t worry.  A limited number of loaner poles are available.

There’s lots of activities besides fishing.

The event is from 9 a.m. to noon with lunch from noon to 1 p.m. Transportation from around the Bootheel is available. Contact the Missouri Bootheel Regional Consortium for those locations and pickup times.
