CAPE GIRARDEAU – A Kennett man was sentenced Thursday in US District Court at Cape Girardeau to two years in federal prison for selling a device that can convert a Glock pistol into a machine gun.
The US Attorney’s Office reports in October last year, 22 year old Cole Johnathan Campbell sold an auto sear, also known as a “Glock switch,” to a confidential informant working for the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
Campbell pleaded guilty in March to one felony count of unlawfully transferring a machine gun.
