Last week we told you about a Vietnam veteran who finally got recognition for his act of valor because of a book written by a Bragg City native. “Grotto Books One and Two” were written by Harold Walker, who says he’s not only pleased that the books brought proper recognition to a fellow Marine, but he’s gratified by the books’ reception overall.

Walker intends to finish that story in “Grotto: Book Three,” to be released at a later date.

His first book was “Murder on the Floodways,” a story that brings the Bootheel of 60 years ago to life. Walker says the book continues to have life.

You can get Walker’s books on Amazon as well several other outlets.
