Monday Morning Traffic Accidents Leave Three Hurt

Two morning traffic accidents Monday left three people hurt, one seriously. According to the MSHP, 39 year old Danny Janes of Corning was injured when his vehicle ran off CR 456 two miles east of the Butler/Ripley county line, struck a culvert, then a fence, and overturned.

Janes was taken to a Poplar Bluff hospital with moderate injuries.

Two people from Steele were injured when the car they were in ran off Highway E east of Cooter then struck a utility pole and tree. Troop E reports the driver, 20 year old Alexis McLaughlin, was seriously hurt. An 11 year old passenger received minor injuries.

They were taken to the hospital in Blytheville.
