Dunklin County Sheriff Bob Holder came by our studios recently to talk about scams that his department has heard about and often deals with. Holder says there are many out there. And unfortunately, if you give your money to a scammer, there’s not a lot law enforcement can do.
Holder urges you to take common sense steps to avoid scams such as never providing your personal information over the phone or in response to an email or text, and watch your debit/credit card balances carefully and report any concerns.
