Two people were hurt when a car rear ended a SUV on US 61 just west of New Madrid Monday afternoon. According to Troop E the drivers, 28 year old Shirell Henry and 43 year old Angela Sullenger – both of New Madrid – were taken to the hospital in Sikeston with minor injuries.
The accident happened just before 5 p.m.
