Among the arrests made over the weekend by Caruthersville Police was a local 27 year old man who was taken to the PCJC after allegedly pointing a firearm at his mother. The incident happened Sunday afternoon at 809 Truman Blvd.
The man, whose name was not released, is expected to be charged with unlawful use of a weapon, endangering the welfare of a child, and armed criminal action.
