
The Kennett School Board met earlier this week. During the session, the board heard that total enrollment for January was 1,774 students. That’s a slight increase from December and a decrease of 55 students from a year ago.
During the closed session, the board dealt with personnel matters, including:
Accepting resignation letters from several teachers, effective at the end of the school year: Stephanie Pierce (KHS Science), Angela Wilcoxson (KMS Art), Ward Billings (KHS Social Studies), Addie Kruse (6th Grade Communication Arts/KHS Assistant Volleyball Coach), and Chelsea Bledsoe (Masterson Assistant Principal).
The board rehired several administrators/directors for next year:
Chad Pritchett (KHS Principal), Nicole Stuckey (Assistant KHS Principal), Terry Bruce (Director KCTC), Sarah Hansen (Director of Special Services), Nathan Baker (KMS Principal), Travis Wilcut (KMS Assistant Principal), Michelle McMullan (South Principal), Lance Penn (South Assistant Principal), Tina Qualls (Masterson Principal), and Andi Maddox (Director of Curriculum and Instruction).
