A local attorney is critical of the Kennett City Council for what he sees as failure to use its own attorney. Johnny Dalton addressed the Council during last night’s meeting and said the Council members could have saved a lot of headaches in three ways if they’d used the city attorney better. His first example was the trash service controversy.
Other examples Dalton provided were the recent appointment to the Board of Public Works and closed meetings.
Dalton urged the Council to seek the city attorney’s advice and then listen to him.
