Yesterday was the filing deadline for municipal and school board positions. The election is April 4, and there are races across the board in Kennett. Three people filed for mayor: former Mayor Jake Crafton, Adam Squires, and Juan Toscano.

Ward 1 – Incumbent Mike Harbrueger drew opposition from Lisa Dry.
Ward 2 – Mark Bryant and Beverly Thomas filed for the seat.
Ward 3 – Incumbent Gary French will run against Harry Gaddis.
Ward 4 – Two people filed: Dennis Pelts and Roger Wheeler.
Ward 5 – Incumbent Bill Palmer will run against Samantha Sebastian.
