Sharp Disposal is getting ready to provide city-wide trash service in Kennett. Marco Parr says if all goes as planned, that should start February 1.
Residents will pay $23.85 per month for the service – a locked in price for five years. Parr says the only slight price increase built into their bid will kick in only if diesel goes up significantly.
That day he spoke was the day in which the city accepted Sharp’s bid. If you’re a customer of Friendly Waste Management, you need to know that Sharp will take those routes on January 1.
