(Jefferson City, MO) — The Missouri Department of Conservation has released preliminary numbers of the state’s early youth portion of the 2022 deer hunting season. Over the weekend, young hunters ages six through 15 harvested more than 13-thousand-700 deer.
Youth hunters harvested more than 15-thousand during last year’s early youth portion.
The November portion of firearms deer season November 13-23.
