AAA reports the average price for a gallon of gas nationwide has dropped six cents in the past week to $3.76. Fluctuating oil prices and low demand are contributing to the national average moving downward.
Missouri’s average price is also six cents cheaper from a week ago at $3.37. The price in the Bootheel is about $3.40 a gallon.
In Arkansas, the average is $3.27, also down six cents in the past week. Greene County is the cheapest still at $3.10.
In Tennessee, a gallon of gas is a penny lower than a week ago at $3.33. The cheapest gas in West Tennessee is in Lake County at $3.19.
