A one vehicle traffic accident in Butler County early today left six people from Poplar Bluff hurt. According to the MSHP the accident happened at 1:20 a.m. on MO 53 just north of Qulin when 29 year old Stephanie Vance lost control of her vehicle and it left the road, struck an embankment, became airborne and struck the ground.
She and five passengers, four ages two to six, were hurt. One of the children was taken to a St. Louis hospital, while the others hurt were taken to a Poplar Bluff hospital.
Vance was arrested by the HP for felony possession of a controlled substance.
