The Pemiscot County Historical Society will meet for their regular monthly meeting at 1:30 p.m. on March 18 in the Historical Society Room. Jim DeReign will be presenting a program on how Pemiscot County and the Bootheel were mapped out.
On April 15th, the group will take one of their special field trips to the Hemingway-Pfeifer Museum in Piggott, Arkansas. The group will leave from the library parking lot at 10:30 a.m. They will also tour the Rock and Mineral section of the museum after first enjoying a Dutch Treat lunch. There is an admission fee for the museum of $5.00 a person.
