
A Broseley man died Sunday when his vehicle was struck by a train on Highway B east of Poplar Bluff. The MSHP identified the victim as 52 year old Mark Arnold. The Patrol reports Arnold failed to yield his vehicle to warning signals, and it traveled into the path of the train.
On Friday night, two people were hurt, one seriously in a two vehicle accident on US 412 south of Senath. Troop E reports that accident happened when a SUV driven by 38 year old Tasha Binkard of Kennett struck the rear of a vehicle driven by 46 year old Michelle Burks of Caruthersville. Binkard was ejected from the vehicle after it ran off the road and overturned. She was taken by Air Medical to a Memphis hospital with serious injuries.
Burks was taken to Arkansas Methodist Hospital with minor injuries.
A Kennett woman was hurt Saturday morning when her car ran off Highway 84 just west of Kennett and struck an embankment. Troop E reports 38 year old Andrea Miller was taken to Arkansas Methodist Hospital with minor injuries, following the 9 a.m. accident.
Two vehicles were involved in an accident on Highway 25 just east of Holcomb Saturday that left one person hurt. It happened when a car driven by 20 year old Adam Menz of Perkins, MO rear ended a vehicle driven by 37 year old Jonathan Harless of Steele.
Harless was hurt and taken to Southeast Health of Stoddard County, following the 8:20 p.m. accident.
