Low-interest federal disaster loans are now available to certain private nonprofit organizations in Missouri following President Biden’s federal disaster declaration for Public Assistance as a result of the severe storms, straight-line winds and tornadoes that occurred on Dec. 10, 2021, announced Administrator Isabella Casillas Guzman of the U.S. Small Business Administration.

Private nonprofits that provide essential services of a governmental nature are eligible for assistance.

These low-interest federal disaster loans are available in Bollinger, Dunklin, Iron, Madison, Pemiscot, Reynolds and Wayne counties.

Private nonprofit organizations should contact the Missouri State Emergency Management Agency by calling (573) 526-9100 or visiting https://sema.dps.mo.gov/programs/state_public_assistance.php to obtain information about applicant briefings.
