One person was hurt Tuesday morning when two vehicles collided on US 61 at Highway U in New Madrid. According to the MSHP, one of the drivers, 51 year old Shanna Berger of Cape received minor injuries and was taken to St. Francis Medical Center. The accident happened at 11:20 a.m.
Two people were hurt when the car they were in rear ended a vehicle on US 412 at Route C west of Hayti and overturned. Troop E reports the driver, 28 year old Coisha McVay of Blytheville and a two year child from Steele received minor injuries. They were taken to Pemiscot Memorial Hospital for treatment. The accident happened at 4:15 p.m. Tuesday.
