A Steele woman was seriously injured yesterday when the car she was driving crossed the center line of US 61 just north of Holland and struck the trailer of an 18-wheeler. Troop E reports 36 year old Leann King was taken to a Memphis hospital by Survival Flight.
The driver of the Freightliner was not hurt. The accident happened during the noon hour.
