A Lilbourn man was hurt in a traffic accident that happened on US 61 at Exit 49 in New Madrid County just after midnight this morning. Troop E reports 32 year old LaTerrance Sutton received minor injuries when a his pickup struck a Freightliner after the 18-wheeler failed to yield.
Sutton was taken to the hospital in Sikeston. The driver of the Freightliner, from Indiana, was not hurt.
