A Kennett man charged with first degree murder makes his first court appearance today. 49 year old Frankie W. Pitts is charged in the death of 76 year old Sonny Ridings, who was found dead at his home on Jones Street Saturday afternoon.
Pitts is also charged with first degree burglarly, unlawful use of a weapon, two counts of tampering with physical evidence, and armed criminal action.
He’s held with no bond at the DCJC.
