One person is in custody following a weekend stabbing in Caruthersville. According to CPD, officers responded Sunday to the 500 block of Ward Avenue and found a man, whose name was not released, with a stab wound to the chest. He was airlifted to a Cape Girardeau hospital.
A 50 year old Caruthersville man was arrested and taken to the PCJC. His name was not provided by the news release pending filing of formal charges, including first degree assault.
