Three Weekend Traffic Accidents in Dunklin County Leave People Hurt

The MSHP reports three traffic accidents over the weekend in Dunklin County left several people hurt. The first accident happened late Saturday night when 23 year old Dajanay Wallace of Lilbourn turned her car into the path of a motorcycle driven by 72 year old Timothy Dubois of Risco.

Both drivers were hurt in the accident that happened on Highway 25 just south of Malden.

A Senath woman was hurt Saturday evening when the SUV she was driving traveled into the path of a car on Highway 412 at Senath. Troop E reports 86 year old Phyllis Jackson was taken to the hospital in Paragould with minor injuries. The other driver, 42 year old Shonda Stone of Leachville, was not hurt.

The accident happened just before 6 p.m. Saturday.

Last night just after 9 p.m. six people were hurt on MO 53 seven miles north of Campbell when a 16 year old Malden girl pulled her SUV into the path of a vehicle driven by 50 year old Anthony Harrison of Qulin.

The 16 year old was hurt, as were four other teenagers in her vehicle. Harrison was also injured. All the injuries were termed as minor and they were all taken to a Poplar Bluff hospital.
