Missouri’s annual back-to-school sales tax holiday begins at midnight and runs through Sunday. Kennett Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Melissa Combs is glad Kennett participates in the weekend.
Certain back-to-school purchases such as school supplies, computers, and clothing are exempt from the state, city, and county sales tax.
