A Malden teenager was hurt when she failed to negotiate a curve in the car she was driving and it ran off the road and struck a ditch. According to the MSHP, the 17 year old girl received minor injuries following the accident last night just after 7 p.m. on Route JJ in Glennonville.
A traffic accident on Highway J west of Malden yesterday morning left three people hurt. Troop E reports it happened when 56 year old Teresa Roberts of Sikeston pulled her vehicle into the path of a car driven by 30 year old Christina Wilson of Poplar Bluff.
Both drivers received minor injuries as did a passener in the Roberts vehicle, 57 year old Joseph Vails of Malden. They were taken to a Poplar Bluff hospital.
The accident happened about 8:30 a.m.
