City Councilman Appears in Court

dcjc-9

A Kennett City Councilman faces more charges after his arrest this week. According to Dunklin County Prosecuting Attorney Nicholas Jain, among the charges added against Marco Parr were first degree burglary and unlawful use of a weapon (exhibiting). Jain amended the complaint against Parr today.

Parr appeared before Judge John Spielman today, where he waived his formal arraignment. A motion for a bond reduction was filed and that motion will be taken up during Parr’s next court appearance Tuesday.

Currently, he is held without bond in the DCJC.
