A Kennett City Councilman is in the DCJC, facing several charges after his arrest Sunday. 38 year old Marco Parr is charged with first degree sodomy or attempted sodomy, second degree kidnapping, as well as second and third degree domestic assault.
According to a probable cause affidavit, police were called to investigate an alleged “incident of domestic violence” just before 7 a.m. Sunday.
Parr is in the Dunklin County Justice Center, held with no bond, until his appearance in court for his initial arraignment on Tuesday.
Hometown News reached out to Mayor Chancellor Wayne, who had no comment at this time on the arrest.
