Gas prices across the country are getting more expensive into the Christmas weekend. The national gas price average jumped six cents to $2.22.
Missouri is up to $1.94 a gallon; Arkansas is up to $1.95; and Tennessee’s average has bumped up to $2.
According to AAA, two factors have contributed to driving up the price at the pump: rising crude oil prices and tightening supply.
