Giving the gift of blood is always important, but today’s Red Cross blood drive in Kennett has added fun tied to it. It’s The Battle of the Badges. City Clerk Brenda Ellis said it’s a competition between the KPD and KFD.
The drive is from 1-6 p.m. at the American Legion Building. The loser of The Battle of the Badges has to wash a vehicle of the winning department.
The drive is in memory of Major Rick Groves, who passed away in October of COVID-19.
