Drop-in tours at the Hemingway-Pfeiffer house in Piggott have been suspended this week due to the COVID-19 virus, Arkansas State University Heritage Sites director Dr. Adam Long announced. However, individual tours remain available by reservation by calling 870-598-3487.
Long also noted that the Hemingway-Pfeiffer Museum and Educational Center (HPMEC) will be closed for the holidays from Dec. 19, 2020 until Jan. 3, 2021.
Reservations for tours are limited to eight guests and must be made in advance. Visitors over age 10 are required to wear a face covering throughout the tour.
