A 16 year old has been arrested for a shooting in Caruthersville that left a 21 year old man dead. According to Caurthersvlle PD, officers along with deputies from the Pemiscot County Sheriff’s Department responded to 40 East Haven. Officers found a man dead in the living room. His name was not released.
A news release says the 16 year old admitted to the shooting and was taken to Charleston Juvenile Detention Facility. The juvenile will go before Judge Keith Currie in Division 3 of the Pemiscot County Circuit Court for a hearing to determine whether the teenager will be charged with murder as an adult.
