It took four years, but the move down the street for the OAKS Senior Nutrition Center is going on this week. Center Director Laura Ford says they hope to be serving meals at the new location on Harrison Street Monday. Unfortunately, COVID restrictions keep them from utilizing the facility completely.
When those restrictions lift, the new OAKS will be more than just a place to eat lunch. Seniors will be able to spend the day there, doing everything from using the library to playing shuffle board.
