A second arrest has been made in a Caruthersville homicide. According to the Caruthersville PD, a suspect was arrested yesterday in the August 16 death of Larry McIntyre.
According to a news release, the arrest was the joint effort of CPD, Pemiscot County Sheriff’s Office, the MSHP, and Raytown Police.
The news release says potential evidence was recovered and officers will apply for a warrant for first degree murder and armed criminal action against the suspect, whose name was not released.
The suspect is currently in the Jackson County Dentention Center, awaiting extradition to Pemiscot County.
Zyion Nakeith Cooper was arrested last month for the killing. His preliminary hearing in Pemiscot County Circuit Court is Thursday.
