A 72 year old Arbyrd man was struck and killed by a vehicle around the KFC area of Independence Avenue Friday night. According to the KPD, the incident happened around 7:30 p.m. As of this news release, police were still searching for a silver Cheve or GMC pickup.
The victim was identified by Dunklin County Coroner James Powell as Darris “Butch” Lawless.
