The primary results for governor were no surprise to anyone. Governor Mike Parson will take on Democratic State Auditor Nicole Galloway in November.
Parson received 75% of the vote statewide over three opponents. Galloway received almost 85% of the Democratic vote over four opponents.
Lt. Governor Mike Kehoe will run against Democrat Alissia Cannady in November as both won their primaries easily.
Other statewide incumbents were unopposed.
In the Democratic Attorney General’s race, the winner was Rich Finneran, who defeated Elad Gross with just over 55% of the vote.
