The 2019 Delta Fair Parade will begin at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, September 24. Line-up
will begin at 4:30 p.m. near Kennett High School.
All parade entries should enter the lineup area by traveling South down North
Bypass/Homecrest (near Baker Implement Co. going toward Kennett High School).
Follow North Bypass/Homecrest until you reach the intersection at Lester St. At this
intersection all entries will be stopped by Parade Personnel and directed to their
destination.
Entries with multiple riders (especially children) should gather together at a separate
location and arrive as one unit. *Individual drop offs will not be allowed.
School Buses will be directed to turn onto Lester, right on North St. then left onto Walter
St. and drop off students near the KHS Gymnasium. Band students can depart buses
in the gym parking lot and walk to the grassy area in front of the High School. Band
buses should also exit using Lester St. and then North Bypass to go to the end of the
parade route.
Floats will be directed to turn onto Lester, right on North St. then left onto Walter St. to
Washington. Floats will line up on Washington facing Homecrest to feed into the lineup.
Float judges will be stationed at various locations throughout the route.
We ask all entries to not stop at any point to perform routines. This slows the progress
of the parade and creates gaps. Bands are asked to continue play through the duration
of the route.
Lineup numbers will be available at the Chamber office today (Monday) from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. The
