The New Madrid Chamber of Commerce is gearing up for the 2018 New Madrid Fall Festival, which will take place on October 6.
Many events are scheduled for that day including beauty pageants, a car show, youth fishing rodeo, arts and craft vendors, Escape Cape escape room, Lazy L Safari petting zoo, old-fashioned wagon rides, music, food, and more.
This years catfish tournament is being hosted by Twisted Cat Outdoors and will be held in memory of longtime tournament promoter Ken Freeman. Anglers from near and far will fish the mighty Mississippi in hopes of catching the day’s largest catfish.
