Steele Police respond to burglary alarm at pharmacy

Pharmacy burglarized

Chief of Police Billy Joe Stanfield reports that during the early morning hours of August 15, 2017 his officers were dispatched to Greene Pharmacy in reference to a burglar alarm being activated; officers quickly arrived on scene and found the front door had been forced open.

Steele Police and Pemiscot County Deputies entered and secured the pharmacy; the suspect(s) had left prior to the officer’s arrival.

Taken during the burglary was pharmaceutical drugs and several hundred dollars’ worth of change.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol and Pemiscot County Sheriff Department is assisting Steele PD with this investigation; anyone who might have information concerning this burglary is encouraged to call Steele Police @ 573-695-3411
