Two former Juvenile officers in Pemiscot County are in trouble with the law, according to online casenet records.
50-year-old Brian Abbott of East Prairie has also been charged with receiving stolen property according to online court records.
34-year-old Brandon Smith of Caruthersville was arrested Wednesday on a felony warrant for receiving stolen property. He appeared before Judge William Carter for arraignment. A motion for continuance was granted and the matter is rescheduled for Monday morning, July 31st at 10:00 a.m.
Smith was taken to the Pemiscot County Jail and has posted a $25,000 bond.
