On May 3, 2017 Steele Police arrested a 46-year-old woman from Steele on charges of stealing after she was observed by officers taking several plants from outside of the Food Giant Grocery Store. The 46-year-old suspect was processed and later released by summons to appear in Steele Municipal Court. Arresting officer: Carter

On May 3, 2017 Steele Police conducted a traffic stop on East Main Street; the driver a 31-year-old woman from Steele was subsequently arrested for driving while intoxicated. The 31-year-old suspect was taken to the police department where she was processed and then released by summons to appear in Steele Municipal Court. Arresting officer: Carter

On May 3, 2017 Amanda Gibson reported to police that someone had stolen money from inside her home on North First Street. Steele Police took a report of the alleged incident and it is being investigated.

On May 4, 2017 Steele Police arrested 37-year-old Terry McVay of Steele on an active Pemiscot County warrant charging him with probation violation (no bond). Terry McVay was taken to the police department where he was processed and then transported to the Pemiscot County Jail. Arresting officer: Reynolds

On May 4, 2017 Steele Police arrested 33-year-old Joey Lilly of Steele on an active Pemiscot County warrant charging her with possession of a controlled substance (bond $5,000). Joey Lilly was taken to the police department where she was processed then transported to the Pemiscot County Jail. Arresting officer: Stanfield

On May 4, 2017 Steele Police arrested a 26-year-old man from Steele on the charge of trespassing on MACO property, the 26-year-old man was subsequently released by summons to appear in Steele Municipal Court. Arresting officer: Stanfield

On May 4, 2017 Steele Police arrested 43-year-old Kenneth Brown of Steele on an active Pemiscot County warrant charging him with 2nd degree domestic assault (bond $25,000). Kenneth Brown was taken to the Pemiscot County Jail and incarcerated. Arresting officer: Fitzwater

On May 5, 2017 Steele Police responded to North First Street Apartments in reference to a disturbance; upon arrival officers subsequently arrested a 36-year-old man from Joiner AR on charges of property damage; the 36-year-old suspect was later released by summons to appear in Steele Municipal Court. On May 5, 2017 Steele Police arrested 27-year-old Trevor Grice of Steele on an active Steele Municipal warrant charging him failure to appear (bond $1,311.50). Trevor Grice was subsequently taken to the Pemiscot County Jail where he was incarcerated. Arresting officer: Carter

On May 5, 2017 Steele Police arrested 39-year-old Johnny Phillips of Steele on an active Pemiscot County warrant (body attachment). Johnny Phillips was taken to the Pemiscot County Jail in lieu of a $100.00 cash bond. Arresting officer: Carter
