A trial date has been set for 51-year-old Paul Wayne Rudd of Wardell, charged with first degree murder and armed criminal action in the death of 46-year-old Russell E. Gray, Jr. of Wardell, in October 2015.
Pemiscot County Sheriff Tommy Greenwell says Gray was shot and killed at a home in the 200 block of Back Street. His hearing has been set for May 16th in Pemiscot County before Judge Fred Copeland.
The Jury trial will be May 18th and 19th. No bond was set in the case and Rudd has been incarcetrated in the Pemiscot County Jail.
The Pemiscot County Sheriff’s Office, Missouri Highway Patrol Division of Drug and Crime control and Wardell Police investigated the shooting.
