An investigation began in Malden in early November after a child was found dead late last year.
According Missouri CaseNet Formal charges have now been filed against 25-year-old Breon Danielle Lashay Hess. A warrant was issued for her arrest by the Circuit Court of Dunklin County.
She has now been charged with a Class C Felony of Involuntary Manslaughter, Class C Felony Abuse of a Child, and Class C Felony Endangering the Welfare of a Child and is being held at the Malden City Jail with a cash only bond of $250,000.
Malden Police and the Missouri Highway Patrol’s Division of Drug and Crime Control are investigating. According to case net, Hess is to appear in court at 10:30 on Wednesday, February 22nd before Circuit Judge Robert Mayer for arraignment.
