On Thursday January 19, 2017 at 9:15 p.m. Kennett officers stopped a vehicle in the 500 block of South Main for a traffic violation. During the traffic stop Officers arrested Donald Sims Jr. of Kennett for Driving While Intoxicated. At this time he was transported to the Dunklin County Jail.
On Thursday January 19, 2017 at 10:30 p.m. Kennett officers observed a 2004 maroon Buick traveling east on Washington commit a traffic violation. At this point officers attempted to perform a traffic stop on the vehicle in which it failed to stop. After a short pursuit the vehicle had an accident on Compress Road and the driver Oscar Lee Hill of Kennett was taken into custody. At this time Oscar Lee Hill was transported to the Dunklin County Jail where he is being held on 2 Dunklin County warrants and also he is being held for Felony Resisting Arrest and 1st Degree Assault On An A Law Enforcement Officer.

On Thursday January 19, 2017 at 10:55 p.m. Kennett officers stopped a vehicle on Floyd Street for Excessive Speed. During the traffic stop Officers arrested Thomas J. Odom of Kennett for Driving While Intoxicated. At this time he was taken into custody and transported to the Dunklin County Jail.
