Authorities in Stoddard County have taken a Wappapello, Mo., man into custody on multiple forgery warrants.

According to the Stoddard County Sheriff’s Department, 46-year-old William Thomas Pearce III was recently arrested on four warrants for forgery and two warrants for probation violation. Pearce’s bond was set at $35,000 cash only, he still remains in jail at this time.
Anthony Shawn Walls age 43 of New Madrid Mo., was arrested on a warrant for non support. bond set at $5000.00 he is currently out on bond.
