On Sunday January 15, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. Kennett Officers were dispatched to the area of the 1900 block of Bradley Street to check on a report of gun shots being fired. When Officers arrived in the area they were contacted by a witness who stated that the suspects had left the area driving a small dark colored car with Arkansas registration. After searching the area they located a vehicle fitting the description parked in the 2000 block of Bradley Street. While checking the vehicle Officers observed a semi auto pistol laying in the front seat of the vehicle. During the investigation of the incident Officers arrested Andre Haymon Jr. of Osceola Arkansas for Unlawful Use Of A Weapon. At this time he is being held at the Dunklin County Jail pending formal charges from the Dunklin County Prosecutors Office.
On Sunday January 15, 2017 at 11:55 p.m. Kennett Officers received information that there was a white male with several outstanding warrants staying at a residence on the 700 block of Slicer. At this time Officers went to the residence and arrested Anthony W. Queen of Kennett on 2 Felony warrants out of Dunklin County for Probation Violation and for Possession Of A Controlled Substance. At this time he was transported to the Dunklin County Jail where he is being held pending formal charges from the State Prosecutors Office.
