During a routine meeting of the Kennett School Board this week, the Board heard that enrollment for the district in May was 1,805; a slight decrease from April. The month of May had 14 attendance days with over a 91% attendance rate – that equals over 23,000 possible lunch and breakfast meals served. The district is reimbursed for 87% of the lunches and 99% of the breakfasts.
During the closed session, the Board accepted the resignation of KHS Principal Jon McKinney effective at the end of the month. Chad Pritchett was named new KHS Principal for the next school year.
