If fishing in on your weekend agenda, Combs Lake would be a good location. Here’s Department of Conservation Agent Eric Heuring, who says the lake has been busy this spring.
Heuring says the bass population is good; in fact, an angler from Senath recently visited the lake and caught at 24-inch, 10 lb 12 oz largemouth bass. The bluegill and red-ear populations are low, but green sunfish are plentiful. Crappie are fair on minnows and jigs.
