One person was hurt in a two vehicle traffic accident on Highway M west of Poplar Bluff yesterday morning. According to the MSHP, the accident happened just after 9 a.m. when 27 year old Krystal Barton of Malden failed to yield her SUV and it struck a pickup driven by 22 year old Jacob Rich of Poplar Bluff.
Barton received moderate injuries and was taken to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.
A Lilbourn woman was hurt when her vehicle was struck by a SUV that failed to stop at a stop sign on 5th at Phillips Street in Lilbourn. Troop E reports 31 year old Bethany Morgan received minor injuries and was taken to the hospital in Sikeston.
The driver of the SUV, 40 year old Rachel Ervin, also of Lilbourn, was not hurt.
That accident happened Thursday just after 5:30 p.m.
