Since Monday, the national average for a gallon of regular gasoline has held steady at $3.30. That’s despite a drop in demand, according to AAA. A year ago, the average price was $2.36 a gallon.
In Missouri, the price for a gallon of gas averages $2.97; in Arkansas it’s $2.93, and in Tennessee it’s a little more expensive at $3.02.
